The health and fitness industry can be confusing. Trying to decipher the contradictory information and conclude with confidence which approach is the truth can leave you frustrated. Quite often, attempts at enticement to buy into the next fitness marvel are driven by false promises that ignore your best interest and real needs. The end result can often leave you dissatisfied, bored, or injured. At Genesis, our training foundation and methods keep it simply about you. To begin your comprehensive fitness transformation, your input is critical in helping us design a sound program that is specifically tailored to your needs now and amend it as you progress in the future. Before any trainings occur at Genesis, we will need to schedule your assessment. Please allow 1.5 to 2.0 hours to complete your appointment. Dress comfortably as though you were coming in for a workout session. Athletic shoes must be worn. Please no caffeine, nicotine, empty stomach, or a heavy meal before your assessment time. This is where we get to find out about you. All information is confidential.
Fitness assessments: This consists of finding your baseline fitness level. Heart rate, blood pressure, measurements, medical history, lifestyle and nutritional profile, musculoskeletal and movement screening, muscle strength, endurance, recovery heart rate, and your fitness goals.
