We have programs designed for participants to manage their own back pain. Learn how to strengthen and stretch all back and core muscles and improve posture. Safety, proper exercise technique, and participant education will be emphasized. Upon completion of the class, participants will receive a take home workout. The Dancer's Edge adds functional support for the physiological needs of dancers who must be athletes as well as artists. This is NOT a replacement for traditional dance training methods. The program is built around using components of fitness to prepare dancers for the higher, more physically demanding aspects of performance.
This 8 week program will cover proper warm-up, running progressions, breathing techniques, core and trunk stability work, hydration, and stretching. Participants will also add 1 or 2 days per week to run alone or with a partner. Please contact Shelley Keith at 830-832-3469 for more information.
